The following sections cover the use of air abrasion and isolation. If you do not have access to an air abrasion system then time should be taken to ensure the biofilm is adequately removed and any old restorations which may be in situ. Care should be taken to remove the biofilm in-between the teeth and cover these in etch & bond where required as this is often missed and can lead to poor bonding and stain formation in these areas.
